Anyway seems strictly British food in the modern era was heavily influenced by the late Queen's taste palate, and she hated garlic so no garlic in the royal household meal. No good food can come without garlic.

This tweet is not very accurate. Israel didnot supported Syria or Libya conflicting sides and there many other supporters of Iraq conflict both Kurds and non Kurds. Israel only acted limitedly to ensure its security not detoriate. Israel economy is exposed to EU and EU certainly not like current position. weakening state of Israel in Mideast will take US attention away from EU towards Mideast. Even Arab elites not like crises. They are trying to lower cost of living.

Gordon started off learning French/Italian cuisine but he is an avid learner and very interested in learning how to make food from different cultures. Here is a video of him getting owned by a master lamian maker.

Gordon Ramsey, at least in his Hell's Kitchen persona, does French Haute Cuisine, with all its brigade-style glory.

Anyway, for the longest of times, the British were irrelevant in Europe, not to mention most high-classes were Normans (i.e. French, kind of). So British cuisine weren't, and still aren't, relevant.
