$25 limited-edition garbage from Taylor Swift’s wedding sells out in 24 hours
An artist who decided to sell trash from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding has sold out, with fans eating up the $25 items.
While there was a tonne of secrecy around Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, it was hard for the couple to keep things completely under wraps. They had a ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York, with tonnes of famous faces being invited.
Fans spent plenty of time outside of the World’s Most Famous Arena, trying to grab a glimpse at things, but were only informed that it had gone through when a message saying “JusT&T Married” appeared on billboards.
Plenty of fans have, however, grabbed a souvenir from the wedding thanks to artist Justin Gignac, as he collected some trash from MSG and made some keepsakes as part of his NYC Garbage collection.

That’s right, fans bought trash from the wedding, as Gignac sold the “pocket garbage” pieces at $25 for small cubes, with only 50 being available. The artist set the project live on July 8, and sold out of the Swift ones within 24 hours.
“I figured Swifties would never want to part with their wedding garbage, so, they can take it with them wherever they go,” he told BBC News.
Gignac noted that he’d posted a very short TikTok about it, which quickly caught the attention of Swifties worldwide, racking up more than 800,000 views
“Collected from the edge of a love story outside Madison Square Garden, as close to Taylor & Travis’ big day as you could’ve gotten without an invite,” Gignac said in the now viral clip.
As noted, the wedding was kept pretty under wraps, with only a handful of images surfacing online of what things looked like inside.
Some invited guests have spoken about what happened inside MSG too, but they aren’t allowed to divulge everything – much to the annoyance of Swifties worldwide.
