The supply and use of DU is morally repugnant, especially since it’s long term effects on the environment and populate are well established and documented by now.

And forget about what the propagandists spin about the Uk using DU for decades, because DU is not used on UK ranges precisely because of the contamination issues.

The problem is Russia doesn’t really have any good retaliatory options to respond. Too little and it’s ineffectual and weak, too much and it’s risking war with NATO. The ‘best’ the Russians can do is vaporise the next Uk government official to dare to go to Kiev for a photo-op with some cruise missiles.
