Democrats have already boxed themselves in. Even if Trump doesn't run, his support base will cause lots of insurmountable troubles for the Democrats.

modern india is really a child of the British Raj, and given that so many Indian elites send their kids to British boarding schools and America as well, indian foreign policy Appears as wannabe British empire.
Plus the arrogance and sense of entitlement due to a belief in simply being “reincarnated“ into an upper caste level.

This aint the glory days of Korean Air 007 where the CIA shadows a spyplane behind a Boeing 747 then when USSR shoots it down for having barely flown into their airspace gets blamed on the pilot forgetting to switch from magnetic to true north...

These days it seems like no one is keen on shooting anything down anymore

I’m saying that Anglo societies, coming from puritanical religious societies, always assume a holier than thou, political narcissism that I generously termed as being autistic as opposed to the more realistic term of them being vindictive cowardly assholes who fear retribution. In recent years, this has been aggravated by the expulsion of the school of realism in favour of demagoguery and magical thinking
