The better question is, since when wasn't the West genocidal? When the Chinese fleet sailed to Africa and the Southeast Asia during the Ming dynasty, they brought friendship and trade. When the Westerners reached the Americas, they brought genocide. WW1 and WW2, which was fought mainly among Western nations, killed upwards to 100 million people and wiped out 60% of the Jewish population in Europe. The U.S. killed 20% of the Korean population with indiscriminate bombing during the Korea War. The U.S. arguably killed 20 million people in its post-WW2 wars and killed 500,000 Iraq children with its sanctions.
Uncle Chang doesn't know that unlike the debt slaves in the U.S. who have no one to turn to during a recession, the Chinese have amble personal savings to help them navigate through any downturn. BTW, if unemployment is high among young people, then China won't have labor shortage or any demographic crisis anytime soon.
What's the point? If Germany's gas consumption is of any indication, it's already in recession or is about to enter a recession.
