An Aussie with a couple of nuclear subs is big threat to south East Asia trading and resource supply routes. Even a lot of Korea and Japan trading would go through south China sea. All is now under Anglos threat.
If australia makes this attempt and is found wanting, what is going to stop China and Russia from doing the same if not worse. Keep in mind that it will take years to build these subs, by the time australia gains these weapons, the war would long be over. Understand that Australia’s military without the aid of the USA would accomplish about as much as the HK has done recently, absolutely jack shit. Australia can try but mark my words, australia will not come out in one piece. Because australia has never been struck once, the impact will be far great once such a strike has hit, australia is still harboring illusions of grandeur, like Taiwan and Japan, all of which at the right time, is going to be shattered for good soon enough

Hopefully in the future, Australia can learn to be more respectful of others, sad that it requires some serious pain first but hopefully most of this is directed at the government since they bore the brunt of the stupidity as of late

China wanna to rein in the housing prices to be more affordable by the greater part of the society, so whatever the solution may happen on Evergrande, the housing price should go down!

Mr. Soros does recognize that China’s “most vulnerable sector is real estate, particularly housing. China has enjoyed an extended property boom over the past two decades, but that is now coming to an end. Evergrande, the largest real estate company, is over-indebted and in danger of default. This could cause a crash.” By that, Soros means a reduction of housing prices. That’s just what is needed in order to deter land becoming a speculative vehicle. I and others have urged a policy of land taxation in order to collect the land’s rising site value, so that it will not be pledged to banks for mortgage credit to further inflate China’s housing prices.
