I think this guy has the answer. U.S attacks Venezuela and Iran to force China to buy oil with US dollars and also buy US bond. If China refused, US will attack Iran very soon to force China's hands. China is kind of stuck because they depend on mideast and Venezuela oil

To fully use renewable energy, China still needs 25 years.

Let suppose this was not a coup from the inner circle to get rid of Maduro. Caracas should have been an fortress of asymmetrical warfare packed with RPGs, MANPADs, Anti Tank weapons and small drones in every roof and corner, air power is great and all but regime change requires boots on the ground, you need armored vehicles, helicopters and tanks. Forget about the 3 or 4 BUK systems and the 20 Sukhoi fighter jets that they have because that won´t make a dent in the US, even if they use them properly, the only way that Venezuela could fight the US is asymmetrically and hope that the US suffer enough losses that they will pack and leave.
There is another way. Use cartel networks to inflict damage within the US. For example, narco sub packed with explosives can do a lot of damage. Or just gun violence using gangs.

If become a guerrilla warfare then yes, that is how guerrilla armies fund their operations. The drug problem that the US pretends to have with Venezuela will become a real one all over Latin America.

Iran and Venezuela's % share in China's oil market is single digits.

Really? Venezuela & Iran oil are not a very big part of China's oil imports... about 1/4 in total.

I think Russia can compensate for that. Also China's domestic oil production is far from the ceiling.

Iran is no small country; it won't be crushed so easily.
