That was from spring of 2021. Check the dates.

More importantly, the article clearly shows the general location of the hot spring standoff area
No, it doesn't. Only one area is highlighted as being a " recalibration due to Winter".
The rest of the areas, they mention that China has likely decreased the troops.

As usual, they don't zoom out to give a better perspective. I vividly remember the article because I tried to look up each and every area.

I would also try to pin point them in a map ( as these kinda articles almost always fail to do that). But then, you insisted that Hot Springs span a wider area and the exchange focused on that.

Indeed. It makes it clear that it is due to Winter.

Many of the stuff you post right now are from 2020. What's the deal with it? I guess its another attempt to elicit some reaction.

Post newer stuff. We can discuss.
I posted a bunch of articles by retired Lt. Gens a while back.

Good job cherry picking. In that article, he said the Indian Army thwarted China. An example being how PLA retreated from Hot Springs, as shown by India Today.

He has also refuted the claims of Ajai Shukla in seperate interviews.
Ofcourse, I can't post the entire article.

Thwarted China from further gains, indeed.
Let's see your explanation regarding the gains of China he keep mentioning.

Infact, "thwarting China" is usually the wording of any Indian diplomat / military leader / politician. It shows an India on the defensive. Quite the contrast from the 'brave-Indian-soldier killed-20Chinese-with-bare-hands" narrative.

This is the exact area which India Today showed as the PLA Hot Springs Camp that was recalibrated

You didn't point out the location of PP15. You basis of that was Ajai Shukla's map ( isn't it? Do you have other sources for PP15 location?).

I don't argue against recalibration ( back then or now). Mind that they said recalibration and not retreat. I don't think Chinese ought to stay even in harsh winter. What's important is to have India on the back foot.

Fine, I will post it again

The fact that India today labeled that particular PLA camp as within the Hot Springs sector says enough

This is the FT article that was cited in the above:

There's a statement in this article about how Indians over-estimate their capabilities. Maybe the author of this FT article has been following this thread. Last year, the Indians here were warning everyone that their Wehrmacht-inspired Indian Army would launch a 'blitzkrieg' war. A year later, as China builds new airbases in theater, they're posting Google Maps links while trying to master kerosene-heater technology.
