I want to correct myself. The first video is from last year, I originally saw the video on twitter and assumed it was recent and had to find it again. Let's see if conditions have actually improved for the IA as claimed in the tweet below. It's only because Modi presents himself as this kind hearted grandpa who won't hurt a fly and is just looking after his kids, which is why it's so weird whenever they put him in a more violent light, like that recent propaganda cartoon where he's murdering folks while still smiling.
I seriously doubt this. I saw a video of Indian soldiers the other day on twitter showing how frozen their food was the moment it got to them. It was all fresh food, not manufactured rations or preserved ready to eat food of any sort. A carton of juice could resist a pickaxe, eggs were like rocks, and could be smashed apart, powdered. I suppose they can always use heaters of some sort to unfreeze the food, but seems like prep time is going to be increased indefinitely. Of course the twitter trolls are already up and about claiming Chinese soldiers are starving and eating snow while their guys are having banquets.
I don't know but it has no relation to siegecrossbows original statement.
Ammunition-wise, they won't need much for their theatrics of firing a couple of rounds as "warning shots." If a real firefight ensues, these Indian clowns will be dead (or surrendered) long before they're out of ammo. You claimed Indian forces can be supplied through air alone. How many planes will be needed to sustain a few weeks of firefights?
Also known as "Chu song from four sides" (四面楚歌). History buffs can relate to this.
Now is a terrible time to use this strategy. They should wait till the middle of January when they are literally frozen on the hills and missing their families.
