Is it bad that I now half expect DRDO to somehow screw up breeding and/or rearing of camels?

This scene sprang to mind, just sub camels in for Giraffes.

It reminds me that between 1953 and 1945, before the Qinghai-Tibet Highway was built, the PLA acquired 28,000 camels from all over the country and organized a logistical transport team to carry out the transportation between Qinghai and Tibet. In three months, more than half of the camels died. At the end of the entire mission, less than 2,000 camels returned to the departure point, with a mortality rate of over 90 percent. After this it was said that there was no fear of getting lost to Lhasa because the camel bones became road signs. This is also the origin of the idea of building the Qinghai-Tibet Highway.

"Village"? That's a hillside resort

Indians working on kerosene heaters, while China is building vacation homes.

Oh, I think I figured out China’s strategy. They are basically enforcing their claim line on the disputed boarder, thereby forcing the Indians to create a permanent stand-off as a means to boost the local tourist industry, as evidenced by the above holiday village.

Soon China be offering a new form of adventure holiday as tourists are bused to the frontline in snow trains like the ones below so they can see the newest flagship attraction - freezing Jawas.

They should build something like this just to show off:

Its simple. It is built within Chinese sovereign territory. Territory that India has no claim to. Territory that India has no right to comment on. Similar to how India likes to claim that China has no right to comment on Indian construction activities on India's side of Ladakh.
I know. When I saw NDTV depicted the village south to LAC, I was wondering whether LAC = Line of Attempting to Control.
