I think some units have M4s.

I thought it looked like a bullpup, but it lack the muzzle profile (barrel and front sight) of a 716 or M4. The body of the weapon did not have the characteristic blockyness of Tavor, so I went with another CX4 instead.

Either way, it's a horrible patrol configuration for that terrain.
I wouldnt equip my unit with submachinegun if i am the CO. At least one Squad level automatics and one DMR. Hilly, open area. Engagement ranges not likely to be near.

Right, sub guns and carbines are great for point man in jungle and urban setting. Particularly because subsonic pistol caliber loadings are easier to find, so you can thus equip your point man with a suppressed submachinegun.

I would also have 1-2 40mm under barrel grenade launcher in the mix.

You basically end up with a fire team configuration of a US infantry squad.

Indian have any 40mm at their disposal? 25mm 30mm russian?
