Ladakh Flash Point

The thing here is... by coming out with fake news, and not wanting to face the bitter facts of their own problems, the country will only go weaker. I have seen many serious analysts in China that not just once but in multiple occasions still recognised the shortcoming of PLA, one of them (forget who already) go as far as saying that even at its current rate of growth, and with US at a standstill, China still needed more than 20 years to catch up... and US is not at a standstill. One or two of them even have good things to say about India's equipment and some of their elite teams.

However, all I heard of the Taiwan and India was like they are the best in the world. Their technical expert even have the cheek to say that their missile after thousand of kilometers flight still had a error of only 1 meter and below (something even the US would not say). And from the multiple Indian commenters that I see in this forum who bashed in and turn this fine place to a dxxk comparing contests, I would say that they never admit or even believes that they are weaker and try to face the truth.

Without first recognizing the truth, there will be no improvement at all. Sure you can use all the money you wanted to buy all the super dupers equipment all over the world. But in the end, it will only make you a second grade power. India and China both attain true independence at around the same time. China is surrounded by enemies that are as strong or even stronger than they are in the past, and yet they became what they are now... surpassing India in all areas. India on the other hand, are surrounded by much weaker enemies, she is facing the ocean with almost no one to counter. They have all the helps from the west, I cannot see why they become what they are now... with huge portion of their country still in poverty and their industries are a joke.

India should really self reflect, see what is happening and grow or they will only be a country with 1.4 billion beggars.

Yeah. China should be amused. India walked out of RCEP. Then India has seen its 2 Quad friends sign the RCEP trade pact with China. Then realizing that India is all alone in world economy. India is now considering to beg for FDI from China after shutting them out in nationalistic fervor. Off course China deserves to be laughing! Lol...
Let is be known that just after the Ladakh incident, China through the AIIB approved loans to India as a show of good faith and in return Modi's India responded with joining the Quad and banning Chinese apps.
The only way this ends is with Modi's India accepting its own humiliation and swallowing his own pride.

In the long run a weaker India is better for China... say India did things right, in a resource constrained world, a fast developing India would not be in the best interest of China... so let India be India and continue their mistakes

Well said. The Chinese 'communist propaganda media' still have the good sense to point out weaknesses in the PLA. This allows true modernisation of the PLA. Noticed the Chinese media could be quite proud of the PLA. But they never claimed that China is stronger than the USA in totality.

What the fascistic Taiwanese and Indian media forgets is that China faced the 2 superpowers in the Cold War. The first foreign enemy that China fought right after 1949 is none other than the USA in Korea. China fought the USA with mostly poorly equipped infantry forces against the combined might of the US Army, USAF, and USN. Even with those odds, China managed to fight the US and their UN allies to a standstill. Later on, China had skirmishes with the Soviet Union. And China had to fight the proxies of both of these Superpowers in the Cold War. Namely Taiwan (more like ROC in the Cold war), ROK, and Vietnam. China did all this while going through famines, poverty, economic isolation, and the Cultural Revolution.

Taiwan had continuous peace after a few skirmishes with China right after the near-conclusion of the Chinese Civil War. India's wars have mostly been with weaker opponents like Pakistan. India may brag about fighting a small Portuguese garrison at Goa. Hardly a fair fight. Full of confidence, India then fights a proper great power, China. And India lost. So India likes to make claims like: "Oh if the IAF had joined the fight, India could have won" . Come on, the USAF couldn't defeat the Chinese infantry force in Korea. What good can the IAF do to win a war against China?

Taiwan and India continues to underestimate the determination of the Chinese leadership and soldiers to fight and win a war. They are overlooking the actual weaknesses of their soldiers. Taiwan's youths in general do not have the stomach for war. They are only brave and confident, until the shooting really starts. India OTOH have soldiers who are historically weak in morale and discipline. The recent Indian clashes with the PLA exposes just how weak their soldiers really are.

So we should welcome the fake news from Taiwan and India. Because it actually weakens their militaries in the long run. But just be cautious that the fake news gets them too overconfident to start a fight with China.

Taiwan TV program compares and contrasts how Indian army and Chinese army are coping with cold weather at the Ladakh borders. Let's just say the tones are not very flattering to India. India has been flirting with Taiwan, believing it will spite China and might even convince some Taiwanese companies to move out of China to India.

It's in Chinese, but pretty graphical with side-by-side comparison.

I hope she shares more realistic news about China's military. I watched a few documentaries about cooks in Chinese military camps and they're really good. As they say, Chinese military cooks fight their battles in the kitchen to give soldiers the energy to fight a war.

Taiwan television programs are all highly entertaining, even for serious topics. This one is no exception, since they found the news pretty entertaining (didn't we all think the same here?). As far as the contents are concerned, they're just compiling and clipping from Indian and Chinese videos, which are already pretty familiar to us. So they're factual, but fun.

By the way, this particular program hosted by Miss. Wang Zhiyu (王志郁) is quite popular in Taiwan with its juvenile-style news reporting (儿童化新闻报道), which has sparked off quite some imitators. Tells you something about Taiwan.
Her manner of speaking does remind me of a teacher I once had back in the days.

Definitely is a difference in the way the "lesser" is/has been treating the "higher". China and Chinese never taunted the US or made ridiculous claims of grandeur despite actually making significant progress in reality. Indians taunt non-stop, produce megatons of fake news, consider themselves superior already despite actually having made no progress and have declined relative to others.

China at no stage ever said so publicly, widely, or loudly that it is so much stronger and superior to the US in every military aspect. Meanwhile the Indians spare no effort or time in doing exactly that to China. That's the difference between those who are more concerned with reality and those who are only concerned with manipulating perceptions.

Manipulating perceptions is the unholy grail of western power games and propaganda. It has been exposed to the Indians and they have swallowed that toxin believing wholeheartedly in that western penchant for words and talking utter garbage. Manipulating feelings and exploiting emotions. It's useful when you have the tangible tools and favourable circumstances but India could not make a 1KW microwave oven and yet still wants to have all accept its delusion that it is a superior military. It's Jai Hind cognitive self destruction. Read any Indian military forum with a knowledgeable and unbiased mind and the Indians will instantly become less respectable and clearly different to all others in a bad way. Yes even worse than typical military forum posting chauvinists ;P

My favorite anchor/reporter nowadays is this Indian lady:

I have no idea what she's saying but for me watching her doing the news is like watching your young and beautiful wife nagging on you to do the dishes. Fun as long as there ain't any real dishes waiting for you.

Thadani’s company, Sentai Metals, imports fittings such as locks, chains and buckles from China that are used to produce high-end luxury bags, which are ultimately exported to Europe. He said he fears clients would “walk away” if he opted to offer India-made alternatives instead.

Indian fittings are not able to match the quality of Chinese fittings. If the fittings look shabby, the whole look of the bag is ruined,” he said. “Would you feel like using a bag if the metallic brand logo on it was scratched out?”
And the Jai Hind crowd laugh at the quality of Chinese goods.

Westerners used to laugh at Chinese quality and certainly used to be mostly right. Now the remaining ones are laughing out of some other less than rational motivations and they are mostly wrong about this old stigma. Indians just think they're westerners and have conquered the struggles just like their sir-bros lol. They don't realise they have yet to even begin getting to the level where "made in India" everything can be considered low quality garbage. About 10 years behind where China was industrially in the 1980s.

Manufacturing is going to change obviously and India is riding no waves. It's sitting on a desert dreaming about surfing and getting all the hotties. India isn't in place to exploit any of its own circumstances or got the stuff to make good on anything up and coming. Just a whole lot of angry, poorly educated, young men ready to demand their global share of resources and pollute with backwards industry and infrastructure.

Normally in history such a society usually end up with leaders unable to solve those problems and sending their overpopulated young men to fight and die in major war/s. If they win, they get resources, if they lose, well fewer mouths to feed and fewer people to contribute towards India's already unbreathable air. China at its worst has never even gotten close to how major Indian cities are polluting and India doesn't even bloody have industry to justify that pollution or create some wealth to offset it eventually with development.

Large countries often are great examples of the negative aspects of humanity by virtue of nominal population size and the fact that negativity is usually focused and remembered by people. India is truly unmatched. Not even by China at its worst. If western propaganda and negative attention was focused on India, everything about it is worse. Worse offenders of human dignity, worse human rights abuses, worse aggression upon neighbours, annexed more territory, more corruption, more pollution, more ethnic and religious disharmony and violence, more crime, worse crimes against minorities both on individual and collective levels even government to some extent, more students arrested and killed by authorities (much, much, much more seeing as China had it's major one in 89 and even that one doesn't match India's). List goes on but most westerner elites consider Indians truly a lot "lesser" than they are but the Jai Hind morons drink the Brahmin coolaid and are all of them too eager to satisfy the wrong people and the wrong thinking.
