Sadly the younger people I know are all brand snobs/ Apple worshippers who insist it is all because iOS is really better and totally not because they like flashing that logo. These types also always have a room full of $500 shoes and logo infested European goods. These are males desperately trying to look like Korean boyband idols. If the next generation in China are going to be made up of these men, China will go down a similar path of degeneracy as the west has.

I just do whatever I can to support Chinese products in my everyday life, such as petrol, my mobile phone, Chinese movies in cinemas (I bought tickets even though I eventually end up not seeing them due to busy). I try to instil Chinese values and change my family's perception on Chinese products so they support them. It is what we can do as parents to educate our offspring eventhough they are exposed to western values most of their time. My family grows up woshipping western or Japan 'superior' products, but I am trying to change them. Each one of us is an 'army' fighting in different ways if you support China.

Funny the article was more or less accurate until the last part:

On both sides, water could be in short supply, in part because the rivers and tributaries have frozen up, and little snow falls on the desert plains. What little water is in the desolate region is largely brackish and undrinkable.

Where both sides could be best prepared is in the armored vehicles. India has reportedly deployed numerous

to the region.

Yes the area can be quite Arid, but desert plains at the Indo-China border? Plus China's side of the Pangong Lake reported has fresh water. Its India's side of Pangong Lake thast has brackish water.

Then it gets more ridiculous. India deploying T-80 tanks? Isn't it common knowledge that India has T-90s, not T-80s? Chinese tanks are not designated T-15 or T-99 like in Russia.

While it might be possible that China deployed Type 99s to the border region. Shouldn't the lighter Type 96B be a more appropriate choice for heavy MBTs, considering the special terrain of the area?

On another note, India still underestimating PLA soldiers as 'pampered one-child soldiers' is good for the PLA. Its only gonna increase the 'shock and awe' the Indian soldiers would be experiencing when they meet the PLA soldiers in battle. Its pointless to argue with racist idiots. Let reality teach these Indians a harsh lesson. I've seen many videos of the tough training PLA soldiers go through in high-altitude training to know that they are far from pampered one-child kids. I have yet to see one credible video from the Indian Army on their high altitude training. Yet again India is excellent at talking, but hopeless at doing.

Some of the nationalistic commenters said Chinese soldiers all grew up in luxury urban apartments and so can't fight Indian soldiers. Yet some claim China has a food shortage and people are going to become hungry. I hate how hyperbolic Western media makes you. Everything is in black and white to them. The truth is China still has a lot to pull up, but they are doing very well in that area. Reality is more nuanced than some hyperbolic picture of Chinese life.

Most Chinese I know still worship the iOverpricedGarbage. The ones I know are desperate for the 12 despite not even coming with an adapter/charger. If there are Chinese that have began shunning Apple, they are WAY too far and few between. The Chinese wealthy and middle classes are still all about face and status symbols. It's quite pathetic. The journey is long before Chinese can be like Koreans and Japanese when it comes to how they spend their money.

I think the difference is that there are fewer people in Japan and Korea. In China it's hard to differentiate yourself, so the easiest route is through status symbols. You can become famous by being a ramen blogger or becoming an indie fashion designer in Japan and Korea, but in China, there are one million ramen vloggers competing with you and another million fashion designers. In the end you give up on your specialist dreams.

I want to make videos on Bilibili and Xigua in a certain consumer segment, but I think if I become successful, I'm immediately going to face a lot of competition from emulators. So I just don't feel like doing it.

For several years now, the Indian Army has been using the World War vintage 36M hand grenade. The number refers to a variant of the ‘Mills Bomb’ which are British origin grenades and these grenades also have the pineapple shape. These grenades can be fired from the rifle too. The 36M have been manufactured by the facilities of the Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) for the Armed forces.

Indian Army still uses the 36M, a grenade which also has severe reliability problems and uneven fragmenting pattern making it unsafe even to the thrower. The multi-mode grenade has been developed to overcome these defects. It uses preformed cylindrical mild steel pre-fragments to achieve uniform distribution,” says the official page of the DRDO’s facility Terminal Ballistic Research Laboratory (TBRL) which has developed the MMHG.

What the hell

It makes sense if you just think "China bad", no matter what it is, as long as it's negative on China's part, it's logically sound.

What I'm getting from reading this is...Indian soldiers are too weak or too poorly trained to throw their grenades a safe distance from themselves, or are unaware to shield themselves from shrapnel. British troops had no issues with these grenades to report it afaik. This multi mode grenade will likely not be seen in any vast numbers especially in Ladakh.
