So India is now deploying the Nirhbays? Interesting. Are these weapons ready? They have been testing it for 7 years. Can't deploy it years ago, but ok to deploy them now? How many are available now?

In any case, the Nirbays are not gonna scare the Chinese one bit. They have prepared against mass Tomahawk strikes. I wonder what is India's preparation against CJ-10s or Baburs? Its one thing to launch Nirhbays, its another when the enemy can shoot back.
You talk too much logic. Stop it now. Have faith in the forces. They are battle hardened, prepared. Trust me, it's spring for them. Let them enjoy the pleasant weather please.

This a wow moment!
Self heating MRE for the PLA.
This is impressive and Hi Tech !
Don't know exactly how that exothermic reaction is achieved but the old method used powdered magnesium and salt in a waterproof packet into which water added. The reaction produces extreme heat which cooks ( or heats up) the food. The trick is to keep the contents from exploding and contaminating the food. But like many critical technologies this one has been mastered. Now food that hot clean and nutritious is available to all soldiers regardless of altitude or weather.

I mean, it's not really high tech, is it? China has been having those for years already, self-heating food.

China is sticking to 1959 LAC line and India is not happy

India will never be happy. It lost 38,000 square kilometers of territory and suffered over 10,000 casualties in 1962, with all Chinese objectives achieved. Ever since then, the Chinese have completely left the Indians in the dust and now the economic gap has widened to over five times, with an even larger military gap. Fast forward to this year, India lost another 1000 square kilometers of territory and suffered a humiliating defeat at Galwan, losing 22 to 50 soldiers killed and another 60 captured. These jokers will never be happy and that's the way things ought to be.
Meanwhile India is moving at snail's pace to upgrade crappy roads, China is readying a 1 trillion RMB plan to turn Tibet into a fortress. Let's see who will win this infrastructure race : a country that is widely regarded as having the foremost infrastructure capabilities in the world or a country whose most famous infrastructure accomplishment is its gigantic slums.

Well given that China's attack was largely unprovoked (e.g. the lack of Indian troops on the border which made the initial Chinese advance easy) and basically generated by Mao's paranoia about his control over Tibet rather than because India was planning or even objectively threatening China, one might understand if India doesn't remember the 1962 offensive terribly well.

Also it's the CCP's position that it suddenly stopped when "all objectives" had been achieved. In reality it had to make do when India sent reinforcements and probably would have taken more territory if it could have.

Fast forward to this year, India lost another 1000 square kilometers of territory and suffered a humiliating defeat at Galwan, losing 22 to 50 soldiers killed and another 60 captured.

Funny you should mention that, has China got around to confirming how many Chinese personnel were captured or casualties? Because I can only remember the PLA saying that there were "casualties". One wouldn't want to think specific details hadn't been released because it was trying to cover up equally or relatively embarrassing numbers of dead, injured or captured.
