I don't think so. They've been pretty much screaming Super Power 2020 (or I guess 2030 now) the whole time and comparing themselves to China every opportunity they've got.

Here is a cropped image of PLA soldiers tending to captive Indian soldiers. Not sure when it was taken.

That Chinese soldier is wearing the latest issued uniform with new Starry Sky camo. This is very latest!

No wonder the Indian government was so quiet recently :D! I think the PLA should hold those images/videos close to their chest and every time some Jai Hind type runs their mouths they should release one or two of them.

This Starry Sky camo only debut end of last year and distribution was done very slowly in terms of phasing out the old ones. This soldier could have come from the new troops sent over from the Tibet Region drill last week, or two.

I posted about this drill here in SDF:

Guy in the background in blue doesn’t look like military. Is this from when the Indian army tried to pick on some Chinese construction workers but instead got their arses handed back to them?

Not to mention video interrogation evidence by the senior battalion officers captured during the melee.

This is what Indians think of themselves.

" The Indian soldiers are born tough. They generally come from rural backgrounds and are then trained hard after joining the defence forces. They are trained hard and always follow the dictum: "The more you sweat in peace, the less you bleed in war..." They master the art of mountain, desert, jungle and guerrilla warfare. They go through the fire and are ready to face the enemy in any theatre of war. On the contrary, the Chinese soldiers come from comparatively financially affluent and urban families who have led a comfortable and luxurious life before being asked to enrol in PLA. Such men are not fit for fighting a war. "

Says the country that has never won a real war against an entity outside Indian subcontinent. They lost to Muslim Turks and Afghans who rules them for 700 years. Then they lost to the British. Even after independence the only real war outside Subcontinent was China and they lost that war badly. Their only wars have been with Pakistan which is 8 times smaller than India in Population and GDP. Even after fighting 3 wars they have not been able to neutralize Pakistan which is 8 times weaker.

All poor countries think that their poverty somehow makes them more tough and toughness makes them suitable for War somehow compared to wealthier countries. But what the history has shown is that the wealthy and technologically advanced countries pretty much always win. Pampered Romans beat all the tough Barbarians. Pampered Europeans Beat all the Martial Turks, Mongols, Arabs and whichever martial and tough groups you can bring.

what wins wars is not toughness, but organization. War is about communication, organization between different units, situational awareness of your enemy and yourself. Soldiers do not need to be tough, they need to be disciplined, like a machine.

The whole army needs to be like a machine that executes orders without making mistakes in terms maintaining and using weapons, the commanders needs to be like a machine in assesing the situation of the enemy and how to attack or defend. These are things that can only be trained into the army through more training, more exercises, more education.

We know, man. That wasn't a serious thing that needed to be rebutted. That's a joke to show how Indians try to make everything look like a victory. Don't have carrier drones? That means Indians are stronger. Broke as a joke? Tough in war! LOL Most Chinese soldiers come from poor rural backgrounds and are intimately familiar with hard work and suffering; Indians look up to China's economy so much they think all Chinese live lives of luxury. Nothing they say stands up to the slightest scrutiny, fact-checking or even common sense.
