Sorry for being that guy but I’m going to tap the brakes a bit. Are we *sure* that this isn’t just the WS-10 with TVC on the J-20? If it were, it would still be a big deal, *but* that nozzle in that picture looks identical to the WS-10 with TVC (but maybe it’s just a PS?), and we know the J-20 would need a TVC testbed at some point just to develop the FCS system.

Things are getting really complicated now. There is picture leaked out,but I cannot make sure if that is updated. Because Yankeesama once alluded that there is TVC being tested on J20 almost 2 years ago, in a passage related to Zhuhai Airshow. Yankeesama said that people are getting tired of J20's performance, despite the increase of numbers performing every 2 years, unless the Flying Test Center became a little bit bold or the Missile Inventory Institute became a little bit bold.
What does “getting tired” of the performance mean?
The J20's performance, what I can say, are quite conservative. So Yankeesama was actually showing off that there are new engine and missile development for J20. The fans will be starving for those new show-offs.
