I read the article, they are 100% going off Minnie Chan, no questions asked, J20B+Vector Thrust. If you are following this thread, there isn’t anything there we don’t already know.
I can tell you for a fact that Sinodefence.com is more informed on J20 than anything else in the world.

Also Figaro: "Once again, it appears that Minnie Chan and SCMP have lost all credibility", "The discussion should have stopped upon reading the name Minnie Chan", "Honestly SCMP articles besides those of Minnie Chan are worth reading", "Her article is a heap of false information and self-contradictory statements"...

The image was shared yesterday, but the poster didn't say when it was taken. I have a sneaking suspicion that it was taken weeks earlier, along with similar images taken from roughly the same area.
