this definitely was very interesting so that presumably means they already have anti-ship and ground attack type of munitions that can fit in the weapon bay. Probably be another 5 years before we get to see it =(

So J-20S is definitely multirole with A2G capabilities, or at least being developed into that space. I wonder if the J-20/A will remain purely for air superiority.

Actually, the 'J-20AS' isn't even a thing... Every J-20S out there is clearly built to the same spec as the J-20A.

The J-20/S is more probably still air superiority, we all know the main reason for the two seats is for the CCA we have seen J-20's fly with. But that doesnt mean its new systems arent more effective than the J-20A's at A2G, its definitely massively better. If PLAAF want to use a plane for A2G it will use a JH if they want to SU25 type of A2G, and J-10's if they want more F-16/15 type of A2G.

Nah, the left one seems genuinely different. You can even tell the nozzle serrations are way closer to the fuselage than the right nozzle. Seriously:
