mystery solved. 2016 was actually further away and closer like I thought. Its almost as if the guys at CAC heard bicker about it :D:D:D

that sounds like something I would write, "actually further away and closer?"

Note that here in picture 4, the canards are canted up, and the ruddervators are also in a full forward stick condition, so its likely the FCS is not powered up?? but it is illustrative of just how long the control throws actually are, the canards will stand almost straight up or down??

so the side bays and access panels are all open, so likely doing some electronic testing of doors and control surface actuation, etc, etc.

I have missed some discussions in this thread, can someone enlighten me on the following stuff:

Hexagonal shapes behind 2016 and on the intake.
Diamond hole behinde nose.
Diamond box under nose IRST?
"Drop" and hole on the intake.
Thing under LERX.
Cigar things under the wing are they hardpoints or just for aerodynamics/strength?

Hi ohan_qwe, I'll take a stab at this since no one has jumped in?
1. those hexagonal shapes may be antenna covers of some sort, although someone had suggested air vents for the intake side??
2. That diamond shaped aperture under the nose is EO DAS
3. The top lip of the engine inlet appears to drop, an if you notice many fighters have a variable inlet, this appears to be fixed to optimize engine performance.
4. the cigar shaped covers may house some type of antenna's, or it may be some type of small weapons bay as on the T-50?

now the rest of these guys will laugh at me, and tell you where I got it wrong, hope this helps bud.
