As for the formalities, if you're from a Chinese family, you got to know some. To me, the korean, as well as the Japanese traditions feel just like ancient Chinese ones that we mainlander Chinese have abandoned or forgotten, but still can see in the movies and old books.


Now, air, the teacher inside me has a bone to pick from what you said: :p

You picked up one peculiar American thing: "between her and I"... I call it American because I first heard it from Conan O'brien: "...Now just between you and I..."

At the time I thought he was just mimicking the street talk. It took me a while to notice that many people do it, including well-educated celebrities. Now the word "between" is used as a preposition here and therefore should be followed only by an objective case, such as Me, Us, Them, him, her, you.

I figure that this mistake probably is caused by the confusion between something like "Well, him and me both want..." as often heard in colloquial English and something like "You are definitely better than I (am)" as in formal English.

Now we know that the J-20's are doing their own things, I'm also eagerly waiting to see how the Naval version of the 5th Gen. fighters from both CAC and SAC will look like and which one will eventually win the Navy's heart.
