I doubt it. Russia wants to sell more than China wants to buy. Russia was not going to cancel multi-billion dollar deals out of spite but China was certainly willing to opt for cheaper alternatives in light of skyhigh Russian prices.
It all depends on whether the Russians believe they stand to lose more by not selling to the Chinese, or by selling to the Chinese and thereby enabling the Chinese to undercut them in their other markets.
It also depends on whether the Russians are short of funds now and need money now at whatever cost to their future sales prospects, or if they have enough funding for the time being and can take a more prudent approach to protecting their future sales positions around the world.
It has become clear that Russian hardware are increasingly uncompetitive around the world. So there is ever diminishing prospects of other markets for the Chinese to undercut. So this makes china undercutting them in the ever diminishing non-Chinese market for Russia hardwares a lesser concern than perhaps it might have been 10 or 15 years ago. This puts china is ever stronger position to imsist the Russians sell whatever secrets they have to the Chinese while these secrets still has value to the Chinese, for they no longer have much value otherwise.
