Looks like J-10C has three LCD displays instead of a single large one.

But was this ever expected? IMO it was always clear to look more comparable to the JF-17 Block 2's cockpit.

That's really puzzling especially considering the fact that they are pushing the J-10C as an export variant. Lots of ridiculous red tapes.

I know right.

A very recent video on the J-15 development had the cockpits blurred out too. Even the simulator cockpit. It's starting to get a joke these red tapes.

All this reminds me of an american officer's personal experience with the chinese military. They bombard the americans with questions and they always receive an awnser. But whenever the americans asked questions they were met with complete silence.

The limiter on the J-10 is that it's dependent on Russian engines. With Chinese engines taking over, they no longer need Russian approval for exports. TVC in Chinese service doesn't make much sense given that the J-10 is a dogfighter / strike aircraft, leaning more to the latter as the J-20 comes to counter enemy 5th gens. In Pakistani service, however, it'd probably be the pride of the fleet, given that the Americans have cut them off on F-16 upgrades and that they need something for Indian Su-30MKIs and Rafales.
It's other way around, Lockheed Martin offered PAF $1.2 billion upgrade package but PAF never said yes or no. This is a similar upgrade package for Greece and Taiwan. I guess Pakistan need it now after Kashmir conflict.

Supposedly the J-10C's cockpit, but it's unconfirmed at this point:

Looks plausible.

The details of the cockpit aren't the exact same with JF-17's cockpit (which has a similar three MFD configuration but different details), and the refueling probe in the corner corresponds with that of the J-10's in position and colour (JF-17 refuelling probes lack that red highlight).
The bottom of the HUD frame at the top of the picture also corresponds with J-10C's HUD geometry, which is in turn different to that of JF-17.

... and on the top-right corner you clearly see a J-10 IFR-probe.

Yup, I did mention that ;)
