I am still not convinced there is a "J10C", the differences between the J10B and the alleged "J10C" are too small and largely superficial to warrant a new letter code in my view.

For me I can't tell the difference. Some say the J-10C has the extra antenna on the spine. With the pics I posted I don't know if it's the angle and lighting but the intake section looks to have angled corners not smooth as normal.

To admit ... if we take the differences / new antennas on the spite, tail fin and under the nose - which this aircraft is all lacking - as a sign for a "C", then I would say this is a plain "B" !

Pilot helmet seems to be a little bit "bulky". Maybe a new HCS related with PL-10???

I just check my 2014 Zhuhai folder. There are indeed few more pics in there.

Thanks mate, I remember that helmet now.

For some reason it looked a little different in that first picture, making me think its a different one or refined version on it.

It certainly seems larger in the higher res pictures, but that's optical illusions for you...

I'd expect the upgraded J-31 variant to adopt this HMS sy.
