Why has the author hide and put a box over the J10B serial number? I do not mean to be rude but that is really selfish!! Why would anyone want to withhold that information when magazines and journals are waiting for details of first operational regiment???

This is not time for censor ship of you take a picture please have the courtesy to share with us everything!!

Ok are you on ipad? I saved the picture and dimmed it and changed the contrast and I see the number 10691

I am 99% sure of the 1-0-x-9-1 and I just seen Hudong website which says 2nd division with 10x3x

I can see that number clear to be honest and make out these numbers 10691 or definitely 10x91 unless my eyes are totally deceiving me I think that is correct

Does anyone else loose resolution when they upload to photobucket? Here it is the attached but when I upload to photobucket it becomes blurred

Interesting, but given how much these numbers are blurred it could be a "9", an "8", a "5" or even a "3" ... what could all mean the 8., the 7., the 4. (however this does not make sense) and YES, the 2. Division.

In the end You are correct, we'll have to wait .... but I don't want to wait any longer.

The production of J-10B finally started in 2013 after some delay, due to the availability of a suitable engine. The latest images (January 2015) indicated the 01 batch of around 48 J-10Bs have been produced and are preparing for the delivery, possibly to the PLAAF Flight Test & Training Base as well as PLAAF 2th Division (S/N

This unit has been confirmed since weeks. With 78x1x (most likely) serials they are from the 170. Brigade FTTC.
