The relative quietude of the West Bank since 7/10/23 is remarkable but little commented on.
There have been numerous resistance attacks in West Bank since then but certainly not on the scale of Gaza.
Mahmoud Abbas of PLO (West Bank), when it split from Hamas, decided to end the resistance in WB and even work with Israel in cracking down any Palestinian resistance. So, illegal Israeli settlements ramped up in WB. Al-Qassam and Hamas had less presence there. The attacks in WB are usually conducted by other groups. So, it is interesting to see Al-Qassam conducting such operations there.
