TEHRAN (FNA)- The Takfiri terrorist groups acknowledged on Wednesday that they have sustained large casualties in recent clashes with in the Syrian Province of Dara'a.

The terrorist groups said a large number of terrorists were killed in Dara'a in a new setback to them as the Syrian forces, backed by the country's warplanes and Russian airstrikes, continue to advance against the militants in multiple fronts.

Several notorious terrorists, who have been standing high in the wanted list, have been identified among the terrorists' casualties in recent clashes with the Syrian army in the province, including Qassem Mohammed Mousa al-Masalma, Nour al-Radi and Ahmed Mohammed Jumaa al-Amor of the so-called "Islamic Muthanna Movement".

On Tuesday night, the Syrian army killed a number of ringleaders of the terrorist groups in military operations against their positions in Dara'a province.

The army destroyed vehicles and positions of senior terrorist commanders to the South of al-Arab'ain School in Daraa al-Balad area in the city of Dara'a on Tuesday night, a military source said Wednesday.

The Syrian troops also destroyed terrorists' positions in al-Manshiyia neighborhood and to the South of Bosra Square in Daraa al-Balad area.

Also on Tuesday night, the Syrian army struck a heavy blow at terrorists from al-Nusra Front in the Northern countryside of Dara'a as the army continues to tighten noose around them.

The army troops targeted a position of al-Nusra Front to the Northwest of al-Gharyia al-Gharbyia Bridge on Tuesday night, inflicting heavy losses on them, reports said Wednesday.

Meanwhile, some 14 Takfiri terrorists were killed in a blast while they were making explosive devices in the countryside of Dara'a on Tuesday.

Over 14 terrorists from the so-called "Islamic Muthanna Movement" were reportedly killed in a blast in an explosives-making workshop in Tafas town in the countryside of Dara'a.

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Takfiri militants confirmed the death of the military commander of Jeish Al-Islam terrorist group in the Syrian province of Idlib.
The terrorists said the military commander was killed after Russian fighter jets bombed headquarters of the terrorist group in Idlib.

On Tuesday, Russian fighter jets struck the concentration centers and key positions of the al-Nusra Front terrorist groups in Hama and Idlib provinces.

The strongholds of the al-Qaeda-affiliated Nusra Front in Hama's Karf Zita and Idlib's Kahn Sheikhoun were bombed by the Russian warplanes on Tuesday.

Sources said earlier on Tuesday that the Syrian Army and the Lebanese Hezbollah fighters are resolved to end the several-month-long siege on Fou’aa and Kafraya as they have deployed forces just 17 km away from the two besieged towns.

The sources said that an ultimate goal for the army and Hezbollah is to capture the territory leading to Kafraya and Al-Fou’aa; and by doing so, they will no longer be at the mercy of the terrorist groups that use these two towns to threaten the pro-government forces with an attack on the civilian populous.

As of now, Hezbollah and their allies are approximately 17km away from Al-Fou’aa and only 11km from the militant stronghold of Taftanaz; if the aforementioned town is captured, the terrorist groups will be in serious trouble.

Also sources said on Tuesday that the Russian airstrikes hit strategic positions of the Takfiri militants in Hama province.

Russian fighter jets pounded terrorists' positions in the towns of al-Lataminah and Morek in Hama.

Tens of Takfiri terrorists were reportedly killed in the air attacks.

Just so there can be no mistake or misunderstanding...Janjak did not lie...and he did exactly what he said he would do.

He opened a tread about the Syrian Civil War apart from the entire ISIS part.

I, as a Super Moderator here on SD determined to keep a single thread on the ISIS/Syrian crisis.

First because ISIS is not dead or contained. To the contrary they are expanding their fight and their recruitment and bases of operation.

Second, because should ISIS be defeated in Syria, and defeated abjectly, then we will most probably see the so-called Syrian Civil War wind down dramatically. In essence, defeating ISIS will be Syria under Assad winning.

We did not want to dilute the focus of this crisis, so far the time being we will keep a single thread.

This was not Janjak's doing, it was mine. He did exactly what he said he would do.

Moving on...it is becoming more clear (IMHO) that Putin is serious about the plan to send 150,000 troops to help in Syria.

the question is how Putin would fund the move?

Interesting to see whether China would send ground troops there (after the first casualty by ISIS)

ISIS is crazy, has no strategy ... make everybody as their enemy (West, Russia and now China and of course some ME countries)

Does anyone have any news about Isis in Iraq last I heard was that sinjar was re taken and that steady progress was being made towards Ramadi but that's been about a week now it also would not be good if Isis regrouped in Iraq and no one pursued them there
