A preview of the MARS 3.0 augmented reality system for infantrymen developed by Kestrel Defense. The system will be formally unveiled at this year's Zhuhai Airshow. Compared to MARS 2.0, the new iteration appears to be substantially more compact.

Would be a solid carrier for PLAN Marines or anyone really from the look of it, but it would definitely be useful for maritime work. With some hands-on time with the current PLA body armor this looks like a marked improvement both in terms of comfort and general utility. 10/10 if it has the field durability to match its looks.

Kestrel Defence's Military Augmented Reality System (MARS) 3.0, tactical robot dog, and unmanned combat ground vehicle form an Intelligent Squad System (ISE) through a wireless MESH ad hoc network to create the Internet of Everything (IoE) on the battlefield.
