I couldn't find a way to post video's on this forum, so i've uploaded them onto Youtube. Hoping it works.

In retrospect this would fit the small arms subforum better, is there a way to move a post?
To be honest, I think you are fine. There is no need to worry about it.

No the Small arms being displayed is nothing new they are old news however their Military Augmentation Recon System goggles are the center of this conversation pretty much.

I have a question regarding the MARS 3.0 gear, do we have any indication of what it is meant to do/what the soldier sees through the goggles? If it's meant to offer smart battlefield management, I would expect it to be a little bulkier.

This is the only official description of the system I have. I'd image at a minimum the goggles display camera feeds and intel gathered from UAVs, UGVs, and other connected platforms so the wearer can make tactical decisions and issue appropriate commands to the unmanned and manned systems.

Hopefully it's not just a mock-up and it's a functioning prototype! It seems pretty light compared to similar "smart" headgear i.e hololense.

it's not a mockup, this is from a older version of the system, it also has IR/Thermal/NVG intergated too : 1666366983018.png1666367034687.png

Oh btw according to the weibo account the videos were made for export as well, perhaps we will soon see actual MARS 3.0 system on the Zhuhai Air Show 2022
