Do you have photos of Chinese Special Forces?
Here are some PLA Special operations forces:
Holosun sight, laser designator, aftermarket 'upper'.

How does this dude even get these gears , he is the first westerner that I saw who got his hands on the new type 21 gears
The companies that make this kind of gear can also sell things commercially, afterall you can buy some of the PLA's optics used in armia 2021 competition by the airborne troops on amazon right now as we speak with 2 day shipping (red dot + magnifier). If it wasn't for the sanctions I presume companies like Norinco would be selling all kinds of stuff in the USA.

Oxide does mention that he made an account here via twitter (time to flex on us w/ his donations and gear :p); it'll be cool to discuss this thing and have others chime in. On instagram he mentions publically that there's no proof marks on the helmet so it might be some commerical variant. If you guys want here's his instagram link:

Chinese companies do sell commercial armor, so I presume if there's no PLA specific markings then this could be commercial armor with potentially similar characteristics, the issued armor is not something really special other than that the grunts finally even get armor in the first place considering in terms of proportion of the economy China doesn't spend much on military, and out of the small (relatively) military budget a lot is being spent on other items with something like standard issued body armor only really coming into play during the 2020s which is a long time coming.

The armor + helmet has a decent chance of being something commercial if I am to go by what Oxide says, and then stuff like the helmet cover and plate carrier, I think has a good chance of being PLA issued, it has already been 3 years and these things aren't top secret, I mean you can buy some of the standard issued PLA kit pre 2019 for many years already as surplus. What is so secret about a plate carrier that you issue out to grunts?

TLDR; Would be interesting to see more details and hear US soldier's perspective & maybe we can dig deeper into this stuff, maybe get bltizo in here too.

Oxide is a US Army pilot (recently commissioned). He isn’t in infantry, so he won’t have any practical experience with military gear. On the other hand, Im surprised that he got his hands on gear like this when not even a simple majority of the Chinese grunts got it. Then again he also got his hands on Russian Ratnik gear, something that not even many Russian infantrymen got their hands on.
