why would these cadets know much about marksmanship? I know some recruits are natural and hit the bullseye on their first tries. but these cadets are unlikely to ever touch a gun ever again once they go to their units, i imagine they are all technical staff.

or maybe this is meant to have them acquainted with new technologies they will work on?
For kids to enter a college this caliber, he's gotta be one of the brightest of the republic, student that's going to participate in the many designing, manufacturing, and testing of new PLA gears, some of them might even end up becoming 院士 like Ma WeiMing who designed the catapult system for type 003, these kids are going to be directly responsible for many more pics will be posted here in the future of SDF

Some images from a joint Sino-Vietnam disaster relief exercise. Note the army pockets are slanted, which differ from the new combat uniforms we'd seen so far. I wonder if these are the new work uniforms.

This is my first time seeing quad-nods in China. Is it domestic? Do we have any more info on this or is this new?

You can actually buy these for about $9K just for the frames I believe. They are compatible with L3 and photonis tubes.
