Is that a forward-pointing camera on top of the helmet? There is soemthing mounted on the top of the helmet in the first photo, too.

I forgot the name but it looks like those you would use in laser shooting during training.

This is my first time seeing quad-nods in China. Is it domestic? Do we have any more info on this or is this new?
