Don't be fooled by the cunning nature of the BJP. They will go to any lengths to project positive optics. As a matter of fact, the current President of India is indeed a Dalit woman. I believe they call it the Scheduled Tribes. They might have a couple of Muslim faces here and there in their cabinets too but it doesn't stop them from virulently polluting their country's atmosphere against Muslims and Dalits equally. Herr Modi is very shrewd and image concious. BBC never released any documentary on Modi btw, you're all dreaming :)
All of that can be true, it doesn't mean there are anti-Muslims pogroms taking place in India right now. I don't doubt Muslims or other religious/ethnic minorities get killed in India, but it's a big country and isolated cases can add up to a lot. Lots of American blacks get killed in America by racist cops or neo-nazis, that doesn't mean Biden is scheming to kill all black people.

It's not the job of the BBC (the media wing of the British government) to turn up in India and manipulate Indian public opinion in a malicious manner. That is exactly what they are accusing the Russians of doing. If the British government has a problem with Modi it needs to be brought up as an matter through diplomatic channels.

There's certainly nothing happening right to the scale of the Gujarat massacres in 2002. The BBC bringing it up after 20 years is a deliberate attempt to incite religious tension in India. It's the same imperialist playbook used in Syria, Lebanon, Cyprus and many other places by both the British and the Americans and in India it's going to be very bloody.

India and China on Wednesday (22 February 2023) held diplomatic talks in Beijing and discussed proposals for disengagement in the remaining friction points along the LAC in eastern Ladakh in an "open and constructive manner", but there was no indication of any breakthrough.

During the meeting - the first in-person talks since July 2019 - held under the WMCC framework, the two sides agreed to hold the 18th round of military talks at an early date to achieve the objective in accordance with the existing bilateral agreements and protocols, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said.

In Beijing, the Chinese Foreign Ministry issued a separate statement, saying the two sides reviewed the positive progress made in the early stage of China-India border control, affirmed the results of the disengagement of the two border troops in the Galwan Valley and other four locations. They had a candid and in-depth exchange of views on the approach for the next stage of consultation, it added.

I would rate Tejas and FA-50 to be very similar in capability and growth potential. The advantages of T/FA-50 however is the wider userbase which assures sustainability. while Tejas remain exclusive in Indian service, other advantage is maturity of the baseline platform.

Indonesian airforce operates the TA-50 already and USAF actually looked into the platform. The Malaysian can opt for our configuration, although i wonder they will also do for EL/M-2032 as what we expected to receive. AN/APG-67 could still be an option but i wonder what other

One advantage of Tejas however is wider weapon options. Russians, EU, Israel or even Western weapon are basically built in.

RMAF would not want Israelis avionics. The latest Block 20 could be fitted with AN/APG-83 or 84 AESA if i recall correctly. Also FA-50 does makes a lot of sense. Same engine as F/A-18 that RMAF currently operates, can fire the same armaments. Cut down on ground crew training.
