So it's apparently just a technology demonstrator. But India is already excited about getring a stealth UCAV.

Many fancy names for an RC plane that flew for only 15 minutes. It's not a true flying wing because of its vertical stabilizer. I doubt it is even stealthy.

Why do you need a small Russian turbofan engine for an RC plane? RC plane hobbyists can buy RC jet engines for a fraction of the cost. If you're gonna use a Russian turbofan engine, at least build something worthy of receiving it.

So the 'mighty Kaveri' engine is gonna become a drone engine in the future? Wasn't it supposed to be on the Tejas by now?

What happened to Indian boasts that the Kaveri will beat China's fighter jet engine program? China already has WS-10 engines in operation for more than a decade now. While Kaveri is nowhere to be seen. This is bad omen for India's RPSA program.

India wants UCAVs but for political reasons, cannot buy them from Turkey and China. Cannot afford US drones (despite celebrating the proposal back in 2020). Cannot buy what they wanted from Israel or Russia.

So now India wants to develop their own UCAVs, but only have grenade-dropping quadcopters, and an overpriced RC plane to show for it today. Keep waiting, while China and Pakistan are fielding operational UCAVs by the hundreds. India getting left behind in the drone department is truly an understatement. Jai Hind!
Well, the BJP for sure knows their core audience and how to create a fictitious narrative of India building up it's defense industry unlike the useless and corrupt congress government. I mean, if judging from the comment section on that article is true and not just paid commenters or bots pushed by the government then BJP mission has done it's job. To shore up their core supporters at the expense of everyone else. Muslims? Traitors along with everyone else. Good luck.

Why do Chinese-Malaysians hate China?
Long story. But I have identified 3 main causes:

1) White worshipping. Consumption of unchecked Western propaganda for decades. Lack of critical thinking. Many who were educated in the West became White-worshippers and Chinese-self-haters, and thus anti-China.

2) For those who studied in the Chinese medium. The Chinese vernacular schools in Malaysia closely collaborates with Taiwanese schools on teaching syllabuses. This goes back decades. You can read about the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC). UEC graduates can apply for College places in Taiwan. School is powerful indoctrination.

3) Southern Chinese vs Northern Chinese cultural friction. Heavily influenced by HK and Taiwanese supremacist propaganda. Cantonese pride, Hakka pride, Hokkein pride, etc. Hate the Northerners, hate the Manchu Qing. Clannish stuff. Many are still nostalgic for the glory days of HK and Taiwan. Stuck-in-the-past mentality.

Glory days of Hong Kong? When was that? When it was under the occupation and control of the Brits? Taiwan's glory days was when it was the control and primacy of the KMT but ever since it transitioned to the so-called "Democracy" Taiwanese economy has never been the same, someone can correct me wrong on this one, but that's the impression I have.

Despite all being said above, most Malaysian Chinese are pro China. That's because they identify themselves first as Chinese, due to racial politics there. Most are proud of stronger China. Those who previously grew up educated in Western based system or propaganda are nowadays more supportive of China. This is my personal perspective of Malaysian Chinese.
