It may be superior to the 055 CG of 2021, how will it compare to the 055X CG/Universal Surface Combatant of 2030?

Oh I would like to knew more about the O55X.
Seems India is quite late on the large destroyer party. Any estimated dates for comissioning? My estimate for first ship of class:
Laid Down: Late 2021/Early 2022
Launched: 2025-2026
Comissioned: 2033-2036

There is the dry dock to build the ship. What needed is to upgrade the Infrastructure to support the large ships in large numbers. And about timeline It's best not to speculate.
Well one plans and reveals their plans with ambition and poor appreciation of reality while another acts and moves without broadcasting progress. We'll know about 055 development when they come out not when the plans are formed.

It's likely to have IEPS and railguns (presumably Ma Weiming's research will go in production), for starters. Might be bigger, which could imply more VLS?
AMCA... TEDBF... Arjun ... LCA... Nirbhay ... Astra ... Rustom ... QR/SR/MR/LR SAMs ... all years and years if not decades and decades of brochuring and delighting in the talks and plans as if they are not only ready but in service and working when they were nothing close.

The only clues we had for Chinese ones were from leakers but there is very rarely any detailed information announced in planning. All these things were started in the 1990s to 2000s if not earlier. Not a peep and at most a test flight being leaked or some dot points on a presentation slide. At least they finish what they start and actually do it properly. The Indian side talk about it like it's already being used on Pakistan. I hear that a lot from Jai Hind internet soldiers. So when you ask about 055x sarcastically, you know the plans for it have been long finished before the first 055 reached service and before the railgun sailed out for sea trials. As for Indian programs they already talk about a 13000T warship before the dock is ready. It's at least 10 years away from hull completion. The visakputnam is just a modernised kolkata (barely modernised lol) and only one has been finished and even that one was worked on for longer than how long it took to build five 055 hulls.
