Agni 5 third stage tested with new fuel probably to increase throw-weight of missile. Look like we will probably going to see MIRVs on Agni 5 soon. Only K 4 and Agni 3 carry MIRVs in Indian arsenal.

Dual Colour MAWS system operates in the mid IR band for identifying the approaching missiles of all generations. The spectral information of two colors is used to discriminate efficiently between sunlight reflections, background radiation and the radiation from the missile. The DCMAWS consists of a set of up to six dual color IR sensors installed on the platform, which samples the space in accordance with the defined spatial coverage and integrated with advanced processor running state-of-the-art clutter rejection and tracking algorithms to declare the oncoming missile threat with a very good false alarm rate.

The Electronic Warfare scenario is changing very rapidly. With advances in technology, the radar systems have become more and more sophisticated. The duty cycles of the signals are ever increasing and power levels are coming down. Intra-pulse characteristics of the pulses are making them more and more difficult to be detected by the EW system. To cope up with this threat scenario, EW system designers are employing Digital Receivers leveraging the advances in analog-to-digital Converters and Digital Signal Processing Techniques. DARE is developing a state-of-the-art Digital Radar Warning Receiver DR118 for fighter platforms which offers very good sensitivity, selectivity and wideband instantaneous bandwidth at the same time.

Digital Signal Processing techniques are exploited to replace complex RF and analog hardware. These techniques make the detection process more versatile, flexible and powerful against even the most complex radar signatures. Build-on fast response RF hardware, the dynamic Reception regime promises excellent probability of Intercept against variety of radars. The system uses frequency domain detection processing based on Digital Filtering that offers very low Effective Noise Bandwidth, rendering the system highly sensitive and capable of providing very good Range Advantage Factor against all kinds of emitters. With greater Pulse Density handling capability and lower hardware complexity, power and weight vis-à-vis the predecessor systems, DR118 is an ideal solution for the present and future challenges faced by military aircraft.

Is it me or does this wafer look totally photoshopped in/on. Particularly the edges where the glove makes "contact".

I doubt the TEL is for Agni V given the size/ dimensions and wheel layout of the other truck here.

GaN having been achieved and done is a pretty big claim given where India's semi-conductor industry and manufacturing is. I'm not aware of any Indian fab labs.
