They are terrorists, separatists and traitors.

I suggest the Death sentence. Hanging or to get the shooting squad in public.

"Muh modern times, muh civilised"who cares.. Simples, you are a traitor, you deserve the bullet
No, the juveniles will get schooling and work program.

The adults will get hard prison time.

Death penalty for these guys solve nothing.

Leverage the death penalty to gleam actionable intelligence from them is certainly possible.

There is actually evidence that in mid-July they were planning to bomb various HK infrastructures.

Is this not something punished by death? So we wait for them to make HK a warzone and then to punish them?

No, as long as credible evidence exists they should immediately get the death penalty.

They had a bomb factory ffs!

How can they can be let go on the cheap with the pathetic and lenient HK sentences? An example must be made.

Let every internal traitor(separatists, terrorists, CIA agents etc) know that in China there is only one punishment for them, the bullet.

There is certainly a mastermind to these chaos in hong kong. Someone/organization that is purposely brainwashing and influencing the youth. We have seen this strategy in the "milk tea alliance" , the children soilders and genocides that happen in africa the past 30 years, etc

Well, I'm for publicizing he trial, in order to show the public the depravity of these morons.

I maintain that death penalty in these cases does nothing.

The juvenile have little concept of death or collateral, so the deterrence effect is limited. It might be better to reform them and then do a "where are they now" video on how their life has changed in a few months.

The older convicts can do hard labor.

They already left HK after the NSL law was introduce in July 2020.
It is no coincidence the US consulate house was vacated and put on sale in Sept 2020.

The death penalty is not the best option, these terrorists will become heroes and martyrs in the Western media, and it will encourage many other traitors to learn. according to the. Punishment by death is too gentle and not enough of a deterrent, the best solution is to send them to India, Africa, South America or the Middle East. These traitors will live in hell and regret what they have done.

I am afraid that these groups are so decentralized then it would be hard to root them all out. For this particular group, it is run by a husband and wife team that is senior management at a HK university. They basically funded and recruited all the people. If these two people are taking orders from overseas, then they might not have knowledge of other groups.

I would not be surprised that there are NON-Government people from the US/West that are funding or encouraging or would fund a violent uprising in Hong Kong/XJ/Tibet. Just reading the comments of r/hongkong , r/<every subreddit of any topic>, breitbart, foxnews, thedrive/warzone, twitter of the pro independence hk idols.. there are definitly some very angry people that are against the natural rise of China or been brainwashed to think anything with "Communist" is evil.

This is the dirty trick of the West. Taking advantage of the media and traitors to brainwash students and young people, followed by many anti-government protests, riots, arson, looting, bomb blasts ... and then the method of West will intervene. Fortunately, China has enough military power to deter foreign wolves, otherwise Hong Kong would be like Iraq or Syria. In another case, Hong Kong would become a second India.
