Hong-Kong Protests

It is relentless. The 'impartial' BBC, yes the same one certain member believed it is fully independent of the British government! Lol.

Here they are doing an article trying to paint China's teaching of the national security law in school is wrong. But conviently ignore the fact that most of the western world taught some form of 'patriotic education'. Also in the U.K. we have safe guarding. All us educators have to be vetted to ensure we do not radicalise students which most of the teachers did to the students of Hong kong.

But here the BBC did one interview with the teachers union that complained about this. Well well well. If it's wrong in the U.K. why isn't it wrong in Hong Kong?

From the 'impartial' BBC.

Hong Kong: Children to be taught about national security law 05 February 2021 Asia

Children as young as six are to learn about crimes under Hong Kong's national security law.

Schools will be asked to monitor children's behaviour and report any support for the pro-democracy movement, as part of new education rules.

The national security law was imposed last June with Beijing arguing it was needed to tackle unrest linked to pro-democracy protests in the city.

Thousands of children became involved in the protests.

Hong Kong's education bureau released the guidelines late on Thursday along with an animated video that explains to students what the national security law is.

The law criminalises secession, subversion and collusion with foreign forces with the maximum sentence life in prison.

The video, featuring an owl and two students, explains that the national security law has been enacted "for the sake of Hong Kong's continuous development and long-term prosperity".

"We all know Hong Kong is an inalienable part of our country," it tells students.

Primary school students will also be taught how to sing and respect the national anthem and learn about how the People's Liberation Army protects Hong Kong. Older students will learn about the limits of Hong Kong's rights and freedoms.

uk has been serving as US's attack dog for a long time, mostly against Russia. gang up with US gives them the feeling that they are still "on top" of the world.

the double bunglings of the Brexit and the covid put the brits in a very hard place, and the small "union" may break up further. that's why they join the Aussie to launch rabid attack on China.

This is only going to make things worse for the uk in the long run. If an opportunity presents itself, both nations are going to suffer greatly due to the fact that two small nations going up against Russia and China at the same time is almost asking for suicide and to be honest a world with Anglo saxons no longer in a position of power in the world is only a good thing considering all the evil things they have done. And the prospect of the UK being divided up is justice for everything they have ever done to China

Quite literally prevent the USA from seeing the truth until it is far to Late to do anything, not only that it has helped people to believe in the USA system less, they ironically made China stronger, just like almost every idiot action the USA has taken. Now if only the us economy crashes soon and then you can add that to the list as well. I know that the FLG is small but when you combine all of the assets that the USA has used against China and how stupidly they failed, you could say that their endorsement of cults is quite literally going to bring the wrath of God down on them. I mean take a look at the HK protesters and how they utterly destroyed themselves because they seem to follow the same crazy logic as the FLG which funny enough ended up turning HK as a whole away from there movements which you have to admit is quite something to behold

Seeing those used condoms unable to feed themselves with the most iconic of Cantonese, and therefore Hong Kong dice fish. This was one of the first food to be canned in Guangzhou. It's been made since 1893.

It's a stable food of the poor. We grew up on it. It's still my fav and now my youngest sons fav too.

What I didn't know was the connection it had with migrants to America. Because of its preservation property for travelling a long journey to the U.S.

The photo mock the recent debacle of RTHK reporters attempt go propaganda. Lol

History repeating itself!?

Eh, I wouldn't put the Eight Nations Alliance invasion of Beijing on the same level as recognizing BNO, that would be attaching far too much importance to an essentially meaningless gesture.

What does it even mean to "recognize" BNO? That they can use it to travel visa-free to those countries? Well good for them, why should we care? Does it given them a path to citizenship in those countries? Even if it does, why should we oppose this?

Someone mentioned brain drain before, but they're forgetting brain drain is based on economic opportunities. Smart people want to go where they're skills and talents can best benefit them. All China needs to do to attract smart people from all over the world, not just HK, is to provide those economic opportunities, which, considering the current state of the world, is not exactly difficult.
