The Nobel Peace Prize is, and has always been nothing more than a western geopolitical catfishing tool that leeches credibility from the actual Nobel scientific awards which has nothing to do with them.
The actual Nobel committee should have shut that scam down decades ago, and would have done in an instant if a Soviet/Russian or Chinese outfit had tried to do anything remotely similar. But alas even the real Nobel prize is stuff to the gills with westerns, so they turn a blind eye even as the Fake Nobel Prize shits and pisses all over the good name of Nobel year after year.

That's unnecessary. Coming back that way is over-reacting to a comical farce. Instead, let them play out for the world to see that the Nobel prize is just a meaningless propaganda tool serving the West's interest.
They give the peace prize to Obama for things he is going to do. He is still going to do them, some day.

Someone should do a Raspberries version of the Nobel Peace Prize and call it something like the Fake-Nobel War Prize, and award it to leaders and organisations that contributed most to wars, war crimes and general human suffering. This year’s nominations from me are:

TBH this is likely defensive posturing. Its very likely BLM will also get the nomination this year... so they want to distract against it. HK is still seen by some in the west as a political element. Outside of the United States 90%+ people in OECD do not see a political element to BLM, i.e. they believe Trump was completely wrong. There will be alot of people who will support nobel nomination for BLM, including myself.
I hate to diargee with you here. As you still see the good intention that the Nobel prize was set up for.
But, it has long been hijacked by western politicians to demonize any country they dislike. So the Nobel prize is now tarnish.
I mean look at past nomination in thats all against China like Al Wei Wei. Liu Xiabo. The monk in sheep clothing. These people did nothing good to get the nomination. Let alone actually won it. Yet China's effort in reducing poverty never get mentioned. Even Obama got one, and that's before he got into office! Shouldn't that tell you anything?
