Hong-Kong Protests

B.I.B.

Captain
Your ... is exactly what I'm talking about.

I listed my reasons for leaving and yet people like you can still make up your own garbage fantasies to claim what is the real reason I left.
Typical behaviour of 50 cents and 小粉紅. Talk about pathetic

So in terms of who don't have desire to listen, it's people like you. I actually wonder if you're illiterate as well?

And for the record, I really couldn't give a ..... support HK protests or not. In 2014 I only intended to share the protestors' point of view. What happened was still the whole "inferiority complex, superiority complex, colonialism" bullshit the members here cooked up. Quite the same pathetic behaviour you displayed right now.
And to seal the point, I never liked Joshua Wong, so claiming I wanted people to support him is absolutely hilarious.

People outside are dictating the direction of world events, while people here are busy playing catch-ups, with made-up biased fatansies. Not only you guys are proven wrong and wrong over again, but even more amazing is repeat the same bullshit and narrative. It's absolutely adorable 6 years in and the bunch here hasn't changed much.

Oh yea and always resorting to calling members trolls when they disagree with you.

It's amazing how delusional people here can be, that instead of listening you make up your own sorry pathetic .... and go with that alternate reality.

If my memory serves me correctly, I think you said you hoped to work in the UN or join the Canadian diplomatic corps some years back. Going by the colourful language you resort to when stressed, I'm guessing you missed out huh?

Some of the members that come here just want to watch the fun. The "melon eating crowd", raise your hands? And to be clear, insulting others because they have a different viewpoint doesn't exactly endear us to your cause. That might fly with Trump, but that doesn't fly with me.

Awww, look the little fella's upset that the world isn't going his way to he's throwing obscenities here. China's bringing Hong Kong's terrorists under control while America's caught up in a nation-wide race war and China's got COVID mostly behind it while the US suffers 30 times the casualties and still fumbles it at the final couple of yards causing daily cases to go back to setting national records every day. We all know you curse when you feel helpless. Come talk to me; I'll be your counselor LOL

So far as I read and understand this article on CNN, CNN is supporting a unified country, any country in the world, and so does the US policy. By the moral of this article, CNN should opposes the separatism in Hong Kong, am I right?

From the Qing Empire to the People's Republic, China's worries about separatism run deep

And for the record, I really couldn't give a fuck whether stupid brainwashed pro-chicoms shitbags support HK protests or not. In 2014 I only intended to share the protestors' point of view. Out of respect for previous cordial interactions in past years, I issue this only as a formal warning for now.
There are better ways of issuing disagreements and even arguing on this forum -- even for this particular thread, which is one of the most political of the forum out of respect for the importance of this issue to the forum's userbase -- than outright throwing out swear words and calling others trolls or brainwashed.

You obviously vacated this forum previously for a reason, and you've illustrated your political rationale for why you left.
That is fine.
But coming back and throwing swear words around and throwing out personal insults to the userbase is also not something that's going to be tolerated, especially not after such a lengthy self selected departure from the forum.

Any further violations will result in a lengthy ban and frankly fulfill the standards for a permanent ban -- though of course I suspect you may not be interested in participating here going forwards anyhow. If so, that's fine, but if you have any intention at all to engage here constructively, there are some standards to meet, and this forum has its own norms and formal rules as well.

I issue this warning to others as well -- do not engage in any further retaliatory personal attacks or use of swear words, or else there will be additional warnings or bans.

This thread is one of the most political in nature on this forum, kept open out of understanding for the importance of this topic to many people here.
But it is kept open on a tacit understanding that we expect a minimum modicum of civility.

Thank you for so eloquently expressing the protestors' point of view. It is the exactly the type of behavior we have come to expect so frequently among the protestor.

This thread is now unlocked, given recent news and developments in Hong Kong.

However, I request -- demand, even -- all members abide to a minimal level of courtesy regardless of the different political views you may hold.

This means no swearing, no outright personal insults and trying to discredit each other's positions as simply brainwashed or as trolls, and also to be a bit more professional overall. These important political developments on the ground can be discussed in a way without gloating or mocking the outgroup.

What really exposes the West's hypocrisy is their deafening silence on Israel's annexation of parts of Palestine, a foreign land, today, on July 1. They make nary a beep about Israel, yet they have the audacity to make constant and loud noises about Hong Kong, an unalienable, integral part of China.

In today's riot, a young man stabbed a police on the shoulder. If this happened in the U.S., he would be shot dead on the spot.

After viewing above imagine, anyone surprised that, first Taiwan, now the U.S. is unwilling to accept violent rioters?:D

Finally, even if you are a little racist with a British passport, such as the one with a twitter name of Snufkin, you are not guaranteed to be able to enter UK:eek:_O

With this kind of double standard, the west deserves the oncoming depression that is coming onto there door step due to all there lying and double standard, especially because this kind of two faced treat they give to the world is the reason that there economies along with the health side of things are now in dirt in the first place
