Anson Chan just announced that she would withdraw from civic and political life. Martin Lee criticized “The laam caau people, they haven’t got a clue,”

As I said before, protests and movement could force the central and HK government to make concessions. But any demands of independent or self-determination would back fire. Anson Chan and Martin Lee both understand the limit and the scope of what they could do. However, ever since the umbrella movement, the youngsters have hijacked the movement. Martin and Anson just don't have backbone to tell the rioters that defeat is inevitable. Now, they have to deal with the consequences. When you started a revolution that is unwinnable, then people would pay a price when they got defeated. Not sure If CIA felt the color revolution in HK is worth it for them and achieved its objective.

The survey conducted by the Hong Kong Public Opinion Research Institute between June 15-18 showed the legislation is opposed by a majority in the financial centre. (Graphic: Do you support of oppose Beijing's move to impose a security law in HK? -

But the poll also showed support for protests dropping to 51% from 58% in a previous poll conducted for Reuters in March, while opposition to them rose to 34% from 28%.

I do wish you are, cuz at least you would be getting paid to be stupid.
"And for the record, I really couldn't ..... support HK protests or not. In 2014 I only intended to share the protestors' point of view. What happened was still the whole "inferiority complex, superiority complex, colonialism" ... the members here cooked up. Quite the same pathetic behaviour you displayed right now.
And to seal the point, I never liked Joshua Wong, so claiming I wanted people to support him is absolutely hilarious. "

Yo, can we get a mod in here and take a look at this? I'm pretty sure he needs to cool down.

I really can't understand why you would come back here just to insult and attack us. Clearly we disagree on many things and have different beliefs. The same way how you refuse to believe what we say, we feel the same to you. The way I see it, America had a huge play in this and HK is now in ruins because of both foreign and internal actions.
