Do you think the first source of it to be posted on SDF would be from youtube shorts lol

If the video was real (an aircraft flying at such low altitude), we would probably be getting bombarded from the usual suspects on the Chinese language side not only confirming that a flight had happened, but also posting their own videos and images as well.

(Also, the video posted at least multiple weeks ago)

I will go on a leg and say H-20 will be '6th gen' as in further evolved than 90's bomber design like B-2, or its cousin B-21. It will blow 90s design out of water just like J-36 blow F-22 out of water. Anything less would be pointless, as if China cannot build a B-2 clone big fly wing many years ago, and choose not to. Then it stand to reason PLA was not satisfied with US type of design. They will go beyond it, and leap frog US to define what next gen strategic strike craft would be.

Aren't we out of surprises? December 25th happened and we got a new J-36, which wasn't bad at all but I think the H-20 program as we thought may simply not exist anymore?

we have thoroughly discuss this. even PLAAF representative confirmed this last year during second session of the 14th National People's Congress.

this program not only exist but is in advance stages. though as per the rumors there has been major changes in design.

Not exactly… at least the J-XDS flew several days if not weeks before.
Otherwise I agree with you, even if I won’t hold my breath for another mayor surprise like the H-20. I think it was a more than good year for PLA nerds.

There's always 1/11, and I assume you might be looking for 12/26 2026 instead.

We can always argue over H-20 classic or J-36 Pro Max in the meantime.
