That is why the Chinese people tend to be a little more partial to the Jews. Amirite, @KYli ? ;)

Hi Crang,

Correct, but regarding the god thing? most Chinese are atheist, I for one is an atheist even though I'm baptized as a catholic.

This was from @Litebreeze's twitter post.
Why do so many people like Chinese takeout anyway? It's icky. The kung pao and General Tso's is not authentic at all. I mean they think orange chicken and sugary sesame chicken is Chinese food, it's not even Chinese food. Real Chinese food is so much more diverse and intense than some sugarized Chinese takeout food in UK and USA. I mean it's funny how many Westerners swear by Chinese food from Chinese takeout, but I have no interest in it cos it doesn't taste like Chinese food... actual Chinese food....

Westerners are weird sometimes. The Indian food they eat isn't real, the Vietnamese food they eat is sugarized and not what you find in Hanoi or Saigon. But they claim they've tasted the world's cuisines when it's all so artificial food.....

My family is split between Christian and Jewish. The history on the tradition is somewhat convoluted, but at least in our family the joke is that the Chinese restaurants are the only ones open on Christmas and that Chinese don't care what religion their customers are. The New York relatives insist that the Jews and Chinese lived next to each other and Americans looked down on both when they arrived, so they became very close.
