You are right there are two Heritage studies approximately 3 years apart. The later study dated May 14, 2019 basically reflect the same results compared to the earlier study.

The conversation was about maneuverability and not sensor fusion so that particular chart wan't included. Clearly the F-35 is miles ahead pertaining to situational awareness.

The F-35 starved all other improvement project for every other aircraft in the USA inventory .

Means many comparison is like saying that your 5 starved, malnutrition horse has inferior performance compared to the single well kept one.

So, the sensor, avionics and all related area (including responsiveness and example) simply related to the fact the F-35 made it impossible to improve the other platforms.

Bull. Complete and total Bunk.
During the F35 program the US ran F16C/D overhauls, Final F22 acquisitions, F15E upgrades and maintained expensive F15C/D repairs, B2 refits, RQ170, RQ180, Reaper drone, A10C rebuilds and rewings. The KC45 program, multiple drones, F/A18E-F blocks upgrades, AH64E, UH60M, AH1Z, UH1Y, C130J, C27J, CH53K, MQ25, Trainer programs and more.
Claiming that F35 sucked up all the money from every other US aircraft program clearly either an uneducated assessment or an outright lie.

I agree, the USA needed repairs of the non f-35 fighters, otherwise they would drop from the sky like stones.

But when was the last radar upgrade of any F-1x fighter ?

lets stick to the facts here, and refrain from posting further nonsense, many of our current 4th Gen fighter aircraft are being "SLEPed both structurally and avionics and weapons systems. Mr. Brumby pointed that out to you, "a word to the wise is sufficient", I suggest you take the point given and try to focus on the facts, rather than your own imagination.

Maintaining older aircraft reaches a point of economic "no return", literally, our airframes deliver a couple of lifetimes of service if they qualify for a "SLEP"

As the cost of upgrading continues to rise, the economic and mechanical feasibility of repair and rebuilding will eventually reach the point where it makes a lot more sense to buy and build new airframes...

wondering if the Pentagon soon declares new F-35 kill ratio as in Aug 27, 2019
... so, at the beginning of his presidency, Trump made some comments about the F-35,

and, as a coincidence hahaha, first Feb 15, 2017 they said

"Although they don’t have an updated figure, the pilots told us that the F-35 kill ratio was higher than the 15-1 figure they initially reported."

so I asked "will they make it 20 and revoke one "loss"?"

and Feb 28, 2017 it was "Indeed, while early reports suggested a

recent Air Force testimony by Lt. Gen. Jerry D. Harris, Vice Commander of Air Combat Command characterized the kill ratio as “20-1” meaning that, for one F-35A “lost” in simulated combat in a high threat environment that the aircraft destroyed 20 simulated enemy aircraft."

then Mar 5, 2017 to become “In our own analysis we're seeing a consistent ratio more like 24:0 – we're not losing aircraft at all in our scenarios, and we set the conditions for other legacy fighters to be successful where we can.”

as of now, links to all those statements work

here's what Rogoway had to say at that time: Let’s Talk About Those F-35 Kill Ratio Reports From Red Flag
