China became a big issue to the American public the past few years because Trump/GOP needed something/someone to blame or beat on. The mass of the GOP propaganda machine will now be directed against the Biden administration and it's response to covid19, economy, healthcare, racism, etc. In Bidens victory speech on saturday, i believe he only mention China once in the context that covid19 originated from China and it did not seem like it was an attack on China.

For my entire life, I have heard Dems/Repubs bash China on environment, stealing jobs, stealing tech, Tibet, Xinjiang, Taiwan, etc....

This type of rhetoric is normal stuff in Dem/Repub, especially around election time.

Biden's "Bark" is worse than his "Bite", meaning his anti-China rhetoric is more for domestic consumption purposes.

Is Biden going to continue TPP-style passive containment of China? Of course, and that's bad for China. Hopefully RCEP, BRICS, OBOR, AIIB, and SCO can be strong enough to counter it.

My point is, don't take his anti-China rhetoric at face-value, it sounds worse than in reality. He has so much internal domestic shit to figure out, he isn't going to have time to effectively deal with China. He is probably looking for a quick way to declare victory over China in trade deal and move on.
I heard Bill Clinton was really a China hawk during the Clinton-Bush debates. He ultimately granted MFN and WTO entry to China.

That is false. That was a suggestion by racist senator tom kkkotton. However, chinese student in advance research should be squeaky clean, not lie on the visa applications, and any ccp gov official should avoid contacting them in a way where communication can be intercepted.

99% Chinese students visa were rejected, under biden time will tell if the numbers start picking up again

Biden would be as anti-China as his constituents and allies want him to be. Personally, I do believe Biden would get distracted from internal struggles with Trump's base for at least a few months to a year or so before any significant policies would come out from his administration targeting China. Remember that Trump didn't make any major move against China in his first year in office. Same thing with Biden, He would be preoccupied with other affairs in the first year.

I have a feeling that it will take more than a year to silence and pacify trump supporters and trump himself will do everything to obstruct biden at every turn

So Biden plans to have democratic multilateral forums to strengthen democracy globally. How could he do that if Republicans at the moment are trolling with transition right now?

Pompeo just said that there will be a smooth transition to second trump admin lol, now we have a sec of state who is former cia director siding with trump, whats the possibility he will organize a coup/takeover on behalf of trump?

Unless he can magic up enough foreign troops (pick one: Brazil, Taipei, the Grand Duchy of Fenwick, Wadiya) ready to somehow both storm Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona and Wisconsin and fight off the American people and miitary, it's not going to happen.

He doesn’t need foreign troops, all he would need is to keep the US military neutral and out of the fight (which is actually pretty plausible since there are massive legal and constitutional barriers designed specifically to prevent the US military from being deployed on American soil to fight American citizens), so if it’s just kept to fighting between his gun-loving prepper supporters and Biden’s pacifists, intellectuals and LGBTQ+ crowd, my money is on Trump.

That’s why I thought it interesting that Trump fired Esper just now, his SecDef who only clashed with Trump on the issue of using US active duty troops to suppress unrest in American cities.

All Trump’s supporters would really need to do is storm all the vote counting houses in the disputed states, ‘find‘ some evidence of voter fraud and count irregularities and stage their own recounts that declare Trump the winner.

US DoJ does a sham check and call the results legit, US Supreme Court rubber stamp the decision and the democrats will need to start a civil war to oust him.

"Former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, now a professor at Harvard University, former senior Treasury official Mark Sobol and Matthew Goodman, a former White House official during the Obama administration, urged Biden to take early and decisive action to restart the global economy by calling world leaders together quickly.

Biden should call G20 leaders to Washington in the first quarter of 2021 to show a “recommitment of the United States to economic cooperation and provide an action-forcing deadline for crucial actions to combat the COVID-19 crisis,” Summers, who headed Treasury during the Clinton administration, said in a separate statement.
"

It is hilarious that even before sitting in the White House, the fans of Biden are already dreaming:
  1. To restart global economy, as if the restart needs US actions. China would have restarted for half year by then.
  2. To summon world leaders for an audience (觐见) in front of the new emperor in early 2021.
  3. Leaders to gather in Washington? One of the pandemic center?
Just another show after the election circus to grab the attention and pretend to be more important than it really is.
