You forgot US got quite a few SSGNs? Plus Chinese AShBM hasn’t been proven in combat. I would take crying for more funding type reports from the Pentagon with a huge grain of salt
US military has never, ever cried for funding since they already have massive funding. This is a common misconception.

The US military has more than they know what to do with at times as proven here:

Instead it's the opposite, the US military always overestimates themselves because the perception of invincible strength is actually what gets them funding - if their strength was to be questioned by Congress, their mission would shrink and they'd get less money commensurate with their reduced mission.

Of course they believe their bluff will never be called because they will never fight an enemy with even half US GDP.

Alexander usually makes very sensible comments. In this video, his tone was particularly concerned and alarming about the US policy on China, after reviewing the recent visit to China by Mrs. Sherman. I happen to agree with many of his observations and comments in this video. Recommended to watch.

China should be alarmed at Biden's China policy and not let their guard down. But, the US read out thing being totally different from the Chinese one isn't that serious. That is more of a political move aimed at domestic audiences to make it seem like Biden's team was taking China to task. If anything, it is a pathetic move if the US made the event seem like something it wasn't.

Even if biden is posturing, the key lesson that China must impart to the West is that they shit on Chinese interests at their own peril; if they have to scapegoat other nations, fine; but if such scapegoating results in harm to Chinese interests or persecution of Chinese ppl like Meng, then there must be consequences.

The question anglo elites ought to be asking is if it's worth risking a nuclear irradiated american city just to win re-election.

Are you saying the US is going to lob nuclear missiles at China?
@vincent what are you trying to imply here. Is your position that Chinese cities will be leveled and there's absolutely nothing China can do about it? Wouldn't such actions warrant a whole nation response a.k.a. WWIII or worst China will lob all their hypersonic missiles and maybe even their nukes into the U.S.

Lets put it this way, if the us was able to do that without consequences/without incurring massive loss of their forces, bases, they would have done it already, back then when pompeo was still around he would've without doubt pull the trigger

Tens of thousands of military targets that shoot back? Which fantasy world are you loving in? How many long range bomber and strike fighters does PLA have? How many can touch American ships that shoots cruise missiles at Chinese cities?

japs stir this shit hole up from time to time, they love the stink. USN actually war game on this scenario, cnn had a report on it, I posted the link a few months ago. the only piece of weapon they still have confidence is the Ohio ssbn converted ssgn, they think China's anti-submarine capacity is not strong enough.
