America has an advantage in controlling the english narrative. China needs to fight defensively in the anglosphere, and go full offensive in the latin and middle east sphere. We can't capitulate, or we will die. Better to go out fighting if it comes to it.

The good thing is China isn't alone. America's enemies + Chinese allies (Russia, China, Cuba, Iran, Venezuela, North Korea, Bolivia, Pakistan, Peru, Turkey). America literally quadrupled the population of its adversaries overnight when it decided to fuck with China. You can sanction smaller countries individually, but now this is a gargantuan block of close to 2 billion people. China is now going to fully support those countries against American sanctions. These countries can all mutually reinforce and "sanction bust" against each other.

America's allies aren't willing to become adversaries with the entire bloc.

There is much more that can be said about chinese strategy, but I do not plan to divulge it to the CIA moles on this forum. Why do you think most of this forum has already begun self-censoring various counter-measures we have in place?

I think Xi had lot of respect for Biden on a personal level. They had a good rapport during the Obama years. Xi calling Biden his ''old friend''. But, Biden has taken a crap on most of that good will. Xi during the first call when he just became president offered Biden to meet him halfway on everything related to Sino American relations. I think Xi was being serious. But, Biden hasn't taken that golden opportunity that would have served the interests of the United States in the long run and well into rest of the 21st century. Then again, one could argue Biden couldn't have done that if he wanted to do it considering Trumpism has literally destroyed any rationalism involving China within the US political class.

nothing to do with US engagement with China, but it's important to remind the US of its own gross human rights violations every time they accuse China of any wrongdoing.
Apparently, anyone who spreads truth in the US either mysteriously commits suicide or is sent to jail

The meeting between Biden and Xi wont happen anytime soon. The folks at the US should stop dreaming about it and instead sit down and properly think why that meeting is still miles away from happening.

With the (almost) daily provocations from the US to China, then there is no room for any meaningful discussion between them. Better for Xi to visit his buddy Putin in Moscow and have a drink of Vodka than to talk to anyone from the US

in containing and competing with China. But that policy should be initiated with a democratic Russia, not an autocratic Putin — however far in the future that moment might be."

So in other words, in order for russia to become an american ally, we must install a puppet president in the kremlin, america expect a vassalage not alliance, no future putin successor will ever agree to ally with america

They are not exactly wrong though.

Who knows what will happen when Putin steps down?

It is important to know that Russia's elites and common people admire the West and actively try to use Western culture (sans some things such as LGBT).

So from the US' perspective it is logical for them to wait for Putin to step down (either naturally or by other means) and then use this "superior Western culture" to draw Russia to its fold.

China still needs at least 10 more years to seriously change its image of a poor country to Russia

They must be thinking with their ding ding right now, they want to ally with Russia after everything the USA has done to Russia. They are getting dumber and dumber with each passing day. Don’t they realise that all the pain they have caused the world is one day haunt them to the grave

Admire the west my foot, most of the potential successors to Putin are actually even more hardline then him and the Russians hate the USA for what happened in the Cold War. Did you not see how the western press have been demonising Putin during that summit with Biden who didn’t receive anywhere near the humialiation. They tried to do a colour revolution with navalny who is the western backed opposition what is hated by the majority of Russia for being such an obvious USA puppet that quite frankly is only spared on a whim. Until NATO and the USA stops pushing Russia around, there will be no alliance ever

I believe russian intelligence (fsb) and its military still holds an overwhelming influence on who should be next russian president, and therefore any putin successor will be vetted rigorously by them and i don't think they will ever allow an american puppet to go anywhere near the kremlin

This is the type of news that Chinese media should play and must be played on loop for everyone in the country to see, hear, and learn. Most especially this is the kind of truth bomb that must be used to neuter and nullify the basic arguments of the most vociferous democracy loving hanjians in China that the U.S. is a benevolent power worthy to being emulated.

This type of news ought to be circulated on Weibo and other social media sites in China for further dissemination to illuminate to everyone the type of enemy the U.S. can be and is one. And that no amount of appeasement or accommodations will be good enough for the U.S. because they only know and subscribe to a zero-sum game mentality. You either lose and they win nothing in between.
