The U.S. is the most powerful and yet the most insecure country in the world at the same time. Their actions these past decades since their tragic 9/11 attack has shattered their self-confidence and even their sense of self as a country and people. It's frightening and sad to witness the supposed greatest nation on Earth react and act so rudderless and wrecklessly in the face of their greatest geopolitical challenge that is China

To me right now, it isn't really sad that these things are happening, but rather when the consequences will finally mean something and not something that is repeatedly brushed off by the media. Maybe in the past I would gave some tiny amount of sympathy but now I am simply praying for an extreme disaster to go off as soon as possible so that the world can avoid a nuclear war that the USA is simply itching to start right now given how they are pushing Russia and China around none stop without even a care in the world and are still trying to make life worse for everyone around the world. As blood thirsty as this sounds, I pray that China, Iran and Russia and even the world combined can finally hunt down every member of the US military stationed abroad and have them wiped out so that the world can finally know a decade without yet another invasion or color revolution because I believe the USA has gotten away with far too much and suffer far too little (especially the government which quite frankly deserves the French revolution right now) as of now and really with the current events of them trying to hold on to there grip of the world is simply killing off any desire to see the USA continue forward as it is now since the nation's current leadership is now exposed as a terrorist organization that needs to completely dismantled and heck I would probably say a whole lot worse if not for the fact that I might anger someone

Which was the whole premise of Trump's tariff war against China: China will make huge concessions to the US in order for the US to drop the tariffs. It was also supposedly Trump's negotiating tactics: create a big crisis, make bold statements to threaten the other party, and get substantial concessions. Put simply: get something by creating something out of nothing.

The reality is so much more difficult. This strategy backfires badly against the US. Biden had a chance to roll back the tariffs when he took office, blaming everything on Trump. Instead, he basically inherit and continue the Trump China policy. Now he is the one stuck with the tariffs.

@weig2000 bro that is their intention, hitting two birds with one stone. Biden had to many problems to solve and is focusing most of his energy at home and its periphery. The withdrawal of troops in Afghanistan, Syria and maybe Iraq seems to correlate with new trouble in Cuba , Haiti and Colombia. They are getting ready and consolidating for domestic violence and near region regime change.
