The fact is that many Japanese and Western corporations rarely or never use Xinjiang cotton as raw materials, their products are mainly made of chemical raw materials and cotton imported from many countries. . It's okay if they choose not to buy Xinjiang cotton, that's their freedom, the biggest mistake made by Nike and many other foreign companies is to play the human rights card here. They make money from the Chinese market, then claim that they don't buy Xinjiang cotton because of slave labor.

The US in search of the right adversarial point man against China. What are they looking for? An underling that wants to nuke China when Trump had and Biden has the final say? They trying to scare China with a subordinate barking dog? That's why the US is screwed. The US is going to have less influence on the world not more. Even US allies want and need to make money from China and that won't happen if they take a position against China. The US has not even helped close treaty allies who carried out US foreign policy being punished economically by China so what do they have to work with against China? Everything that's a human rights violation.

From my point of view, it's more or less an admission that Biden's policies and strategies failed and is a way to make Blinken and his crew look like they are inexperienced, rather than what they actually are: dense and/or immature.

Biden’s new Cold War with China will result in climate collapse, progressives warn

Over 40 progressive groups sent a letter to President Joe Biden and lawmakers on Wednesday urging them to prioritize cooperation with China on climate change and curb its confrontational approach.

The progressive organizations, including the Sunrise Movement and the Union of Concerned Scientists, “call on the Biden administration and all members of Congress to eschew the dominant antagonistic approach to U.S.-China relations and instead prioritize multilateralism, diplomacy, and cooperation with China to address the existential threat that is the climate crisis,” their letter reads. “Nothing less than the future of our planet depends on ending the new Cold War between the United States and China.”

I still remember when Blinken was appointed as Stete Dept Secretary how the US ands its mouthpieces were saying that Biden had "the most competent and experienced diplomats" in the past decades....

Then came the farcical Blinken tour to "rally" the world against China, and then came the Anchorage meeting. That meeting confirmed that Blinken and his team were a shambles

Anyone else remembers the short remarks when the meeting ended? Blinken was visibly shaking and Sullivan seemed ready cry lol

If only I could hear what the Chinese told them behind the closed doors that rattled them so much.

Anyway, Blinken, Sullivan, Cambell and that new US ambassador to China are all clowns. If they think that with this team they can counter China then watch as Tiger Yang and Wang Yi run circles around them lol
