China has actually ended any mask mandate but many people are still wearing masks for dust, pollution, virus and crowded places.

".... But the reopening also saw a major surge in cases and deaths across the country, fueled in part by inadequate vaccination, which has made some people weary of removing their masks in public even as measures have eased. "

These Western MSMs are still bent on trying to propagate this kind of myth in China, among which the vaccination in China is still inadequate whereas the fact is the country is now among the world's most vaccinated countries despite it having the world's largest population.

The west doesn't value the lives of their own and only care about saving face. To look at countries with much better vaccine and healthcare access and criticize is the same as spitting in the graves of the millions of dead at home in the West.

It says a lot about their cultural DNA, that they're so willing to throw their own under the bus for something that has no value such as fake news.

I favor the Wuhan leak popularization because it opens the door to US responsibility with Fauci and gain of function research. You open this can of worms and find people going down the rabbit hole and more and more people in the West are questioning COVID claims about the Fort Detrick coverup and false blame placed on China.

Better than the other claim that Chinese people are disgusting, dirty, and eat everything which is why it is transmitted to humans from animals.

The USG is so suspicious of the Chinese on some of their more mundane products/services and suddenly we are to believe that the USG is so trusting of the Chinese as to let them make the gain of function research all by themselves.

The only way this could happen is if the U.S. researchers are already going deep into the research themselves and the same research in China, which the U.S. funded, is a way of getting a handle on its development in the country and getting a lead over China and even using the arrangement as part of a contingency plan to use it as a scapegoat against China when the shit hits the fan.

That's pretty much my view on the Wuhan gof funding. It's was to make sure there was a paper trail back to China. While the real research was taking place in the shady eastern European countries like Ukraine.

It does makes me wonder if they used DNA ancestral genome sequencing hype of the 2013 or so to gather the needed DNA sequences to fine tune their virus research to certain races.

But then why did the Chinese government allowed that partnership to begin with? That's where the naivete and outright geopolitical ignorance from some of Chinese academics becomes so confusing and disappointing.

Naivete I think from the chinese academics maybe they saw a way to get some prestige. I wouldn't be surprised that the US based lab researcher probably were also kept out of the loop.

Has China banned the consumption of wild animals or anything to prevent transmission from hunted animals to humans?

I'm asking because SARS 2003 (SAR-CoV-1) was traced back to Pangolins or Civets.... wondering if China learned anything.
