I honestly don't think it is fair to say the Federal Government abdicated its responsibility, but rather a certain portion of the population in America has become delusional and bought into laughably stupid conspiracy theories
The Federal Government and the US as a whole, is definetely responsible on what is happening, when it is deploying its propaganda network to spread anti-vax stories

Can't wait to see how this will *shortly* backfire with Omicron spreading like wildfire in the US

Bro, who says "Great news for mRNA Worshipper" is the true troll.

If mRNA are truly ineffective at <50% efficacy as you suggested, the Chinese gov't would not be investing $ Billions $ into this new technology.

Actions speak louder than words. Chinese gov't puts it's money where it's mouth is, while you are making cheap shots at "mRNA Worshippers" like some sort of gotcha and then playing victim.

It's more like Chinese gov't is investing in both wine and whiskey production, suggesting both alcoholic beverages are important high quality products there is no need to accuse others of "Worshipping Wine" or "Worshipping Whiskey".... we want both. The Chinese gov't wants both.

If you hate Western mRNA, just come out and say it. I'd respect you more for that than some obscure analogy and subtle insults.
Sometimes you got to pour resources into research directions that may fail in the end, because if you don't you will for sure get nothing. Thought you should know this.

The only reason mRNA can have <50% efficacy is because it's a new Omnicron variant that is more effective at evading vaccines (both mRNA and inactivated vaccines)

I'm sure inactivated vaccines have the same efficacy issues against the new Omnicron variant as well, are you going to say inactivated vaccines are failures at the end too? You should know that inactivated vaccines also have problems with Delta and Omnicron variants too, not just mRNA vaccines.

I didn't say anything, except time will tell. And based on personal experience, I doubt mRNA's safety. In the mean time research must continue.

What adverse event did you experience with mRNA? I went to the emergency room because of Pfizer's mRNA because of chest pains. Nice big bill from the hospital, I'm 100% sure it was vaccine related because of fatigue and heart palpitations.

My coworker’s 17 years old son got myocarditis after the second Pfizer shot and had to stay in the hospital for a few days

I also got palpitations one week after the first dose of Pfizer. I didn't have chest pain but felt quite dizzy standing up, so I basically did nothing except stay in bed for two to three weeks. I called my health care provider, but they played it down like everyone else at that time (April), said I should consider in person visit if I don't feel better after a few days... Well I did get a through check up after a few months but they found nothing abnormal.

Same.

The emergency room said it was not myocarditis or pericarditis or embolism based on the D-dimer and troponin tests, but it was "Esophageal spasms due to acid reflux". Then I spoke with a Gastroenterologist who laughed saying you have to get really severe acid reflux to get spasms. I don't have any acid reflux. So I am 100% it's vaccine related.

So I just reported my adverse reaction to CDC VAERS system. You should report it too.

Will I get my booster? Eh... Probably not for a long time. I do recognize that COVID would probably give me even worse heart palpitations though, so I'm glad atleast I got two shots, but I'm young (32yrs) so I don't need a booster per se.

That sucks. Sorry to hear that. That's rough.

Wanna hear your opinion on aspiration when injecting vaccine, do you think it should be standard practice? Some saying it could be Pfizer vaccine injected into blood vessels that causes these cardiac adverse reactions?
